Surprising Uses for Hair Conditioner

Have you bought a bottle of hair conditioner and for one reason or another not been able to use it ? Well instead of simply throwing it away or letting it sit around use it. Here are just a few ways you can get your moneys worth out of it.

1)Using it as a DIY “dry cleaner” for your silk  clothing. Simply add one tablespoon of hair conditioner to a sink full of room temperature  water. Soak your garment for a few minutes, rinse, and hang up to dry.

2) Washing your delicate items. Simply substitute conditioner for soap when hand washing your garments.

3)Remove your eye makeup. The next time you run out of makeup remove don’t make a mad dash for the nearest Sally’s. Just put s small amount of conditioner on a cotton ball and swipe over eyes to remove all makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascara !

4)Use in lieu of cuticle cream. Rub a small amount of conditioner onto your cuticles, let sit of a few minutes then gently push back the cuticle.

And lastly:

5) Use it to fresh up fabrics. Put a small amount of conditioner into a spray bottle filled with water and spray over bedding, curtains, rugs or any fabric that needs refreshing.

These are just a few ways to use up old or unused hair conditioners. There are dozens of uses for it. Repurposing is a great way to use up those little bottles of conditioner from hotels as well. We hope some of these tips are helpful.
